July 26, 2019

The team at Loc8me we are a friendly bunch, and we like to make sure all of our tenants get settled into their accommodation before the academic year begins.

Our friendly team is here to help, including recommending local places to go when you want to wind down after a long day at uni.

In this blog, we take a look at some of the top student attractions in Lincoln.

Brayford Waterfront

With a range of food, drinks and entertainment, Brayford Waterfront is the place to relax with friends.

Overlooking the University, Brayford Waterfront hosts a range of regular events to keep guests entertained – catch a show at the Lincoln Performing Arts Centre, or dance the night away at the Engine Shed, a great spot for live music and comedy gigs.

Lincoln Cathedral

Yes, you read that right!

Lincoln cathedral is home to a range of events such as musicals, art exhibitions, charity events and live orchestras.

Constructed in 1092, Lincoln Cathedral offers tours, with the opportunity to view the beautiful architecture. Top tip, folks – take the roof and tower tours for spectacular views over Lincoln.

The Cathedral also offers resources available for study, including medieval manuscripts, early printed books and modern collections.

Lincoln Bowl

Featuring a new immersive arcade, bowling leagues and restaurant and bar, Lincoln Bowl is a great place to get together with friends.

Participate in unlimited bowling on Monday and Sundays, or grab a beer and a burger at the restaurant.

Entry for students with a valid NUS card is priced at a junior rate, with prices varying at peak and off peak times.

Lincoln Castle

Lincoln Castle is a great place to go if you want to learn about Lincoln’s medieval past.
