As Director of Operations, you will be a key member of the senior leadership team, responsible for ensuring
operational efficiency and strategic alignment across the business. This role will involve setting goals, leading
high-performing teams, developing new systems and processes, and liaising with the Board and corporate partners
to help drive growth and performance across all branches.

Key duties and requirements include:

  • Report directly to the Managing Director, Head of People, and the Board.
  • Lead the Senior Management Team and facilitate structured monthly meetings.
  • Attend and actively contribute to board meetings with updates on key operational figures and performance metrics.
  • Set, record, and regularly review lettings and property management goals/targets in alignment with strategic objectives.
  • Provide line management for the Senior Management Team.
  • Conduct monthly 1:1s and deliver annual appraisals for direct reports.
  • Oversee high-level recruitment processes across the business.
  • Visit company branches monthly (and additionally, as required) to maintain alignment and team engagement.
  • Scope, develop, and implement new operational processes and systems to enhance business efficiency.
  • Lead or support the rollout of new internal processes across departments.
  • Facilitate and oversee internal company projects from initiation to execution.
  • Ensure cross-functional alignment and support seamless interdepartmental operations.
  • Act as the key contact for corporate clients, maintaining strong relationships and ensuring delivery on expectations.
  • Represent loc8me externally to promote partnerships and business opportunities.

Essential skills:

  • Proven experience in senior operational leadership roles, preferably within property, lettings, or a related service sector.
  • Strong leadership and people management capabilities with experience managing multi-functional teams.
  • Track record of successfully implementing operational systems and driving business performance.
  • High-level communication skills, both written and verbal.
  • Strategic thinking with strong analytical and problem-solving ability.
  • Comfortable working at board level and presenting business-critical updates.

● Hours of work: 40 hours per week
