The Role – Marketing Manager

As Marketing Manager, you will be responsible for the strategy, planning and performance of loc8me’s marketing activity across all channels.

This role plays a key part in driving demand for loc8me properties, strengthening the loc8me brand within student communities and supporting branch performance through effective marketing campaigns.

You will lead the marketing team, manage brand presence across all markets and ensure our marketing activity supports business growth and lettings performance across the UK.

Key duties and requirements include:

  • Creating and maintaining marketing strategies across the business
  • Managing loc8me’s social media presence and engagement across platforms
  • Managing Google AdWords campaigns, SEO strategy and search performance
  • Planning and delivering marketing campaigns aligned with lettings cycles
  • Creating and delivering marketing events nationwide
  • Managing and recruiting event staff for campaigns and student activations
  • Creating graphic design assets and marketing content
  • Managing the loc8me website and ensuring content remains up to date
  • Managing and developing the loc8me Community Card programme
  • Managing regular client and landlord mailings and communications
  • Working closely with branches to support local marketing initiatives
  • Maintaining brand standards and consistency across all locations
  • Monitoring marketing performance and identifying opportunities to improve engagement and demand

Essential skills:

  • Has experience managing marketing activity across multiple channels
  • Has strong knowledge of social media, SEO, paid advertising and digital campaigns
  • Is creative but also commercially aware
  • Has excellent organisational and project management skills
  • Can manage multiple campaigns and deadlines simultaneously
  • Is confident working with different teams across the business
  • Is proactive, innovative and solutions-focused
  • Brings energy, creativity and a “get stuck in” attitude
  • Marketing management experience is preferred.

Details

  • Full-time role
  • Predominantly based in Loughborough
  • Travel between loc8me cities required
  • Hours of work: 9am till 5.30pm Monday to Friday 
  • Starting Salary: From £40,000 depending on experience
